On October 31, 2013 the "Threads of Love" ministry made their first delivery of 147 handmade preemie hats to the NICU at Magee-Womens Hospital. Since that initial visit, baby hats and blankets have been delivered to Magee-Womens Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital, Millcreek Hospital, and Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Meyers, Florida. The tradition continues with 621 baby hats and 69 baby blankets being delivered in June of 2022. To date 4,285 baby hats have been donated.
This "Threads of Love" ministry meets every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Park Church. This ministry is always looking for new and interested crafters.
